Ethnographic Videos*

* The ethnographic category, for me, is not a far cry from documentary film
and creating these works had lots to do with eventually shifting to the more
traditional documentary form.  To confuse matters more, all of these pieces
were made to accompany sound art installations of mine and only later
arranged in a linear format.  In other words, they started out as
installation videos but were interesting enough to stand alone.
Even so, there is no cut away material to assisted the
story telling. Only interesting faces and talk.
